Juri's Family

Juri's mother, sister and her sister's boyfriend came to visit Seattle from Tokyo. They brought gifts for everyone including a paper balloon that Sam thought was the most fun! Sam is dressed up on the kimono Juri and Ryan gave him for Christmas.

First Airplane Ride

Sam's first trip to Utah.

Sam and I went to Utah with Grandpa Mike and Grandma Susan to visit Kara. We watched Kara perform I Speak Six Languages in the Music Dance Theater Showcase at BYU. We had a chance to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Roush, Nancy Roush, and the Montagues. We then went down to Orem and visited with Shauna and Dave and the Love family at Jordan's birthday party. We stayed with Grandma Jones and the Jones kids. Grandma Jones rocked Sam to sleep in the same rocker that she once rocked Grandpa Mike to sleep in. It was fun to introduce Sam to everyone. We visited some of our favorite Provo establishments Cafe Rio, Gandolfos, and BYU. Sam was a great traveler and slept on the plane both trips!

Sam's First Trip to the Beach

Keenan had a few days off school, so we went to Ocean Shores for a few days. We stayed at Umma's beach house and went for lots of walks on the beach. It was a nice relaxing vacation. Our first trip with Sam!
